Common questions
Advice under the Housing Loss Prevention Advice Service (HLPAS) is free. For other matters we'll explain any costs before work begins, and confirm whether you may be eligible for Legal Aid.
Call us on 0800 999 1255 as early as possible and tell us the hearing date. Don't ignore court papers — early advice gives you the most options.
Photo ID, proof of address, your tenancy agreement and any letters, notices or court documents you've received. Existing clients can upload these securely through the portal.
If you're unhappy with our service or a bill, please let us know. Our complaints procedure explains how we'll handle it and your right to refer the matter to the Legal Ombudsman.
